The Aspen Home is a beautiful modern rustic townhome that features spectacular mountain and lake views and has been custom designed to accommodate your every vacation need. It is the perfect setting for honeymoons, weddings, family reunions and other special occasions. Relax outside in comfort on the large covered deck or inside in the large Great Room to enjoy the panoramic mountain views and wildlife that frequent the adjoining meadow.
This comfortable and spacious vacation rental home sleeps 8 adults/children in 4 bedrooms with room for up to 2 infants in pack n plays that are provided. It has two Master King bedrooms, one King bedroom and one Twin bedroom (the Twin Bedroom has 2 Twin XL Beds that can be moved together to form a King Bed). ALL FOUR BEDROOMS HAVE THEIR OWN ATTACHED PRIVATE BATHROOM. It provides ample space for a large family or even two families vacationing together.
This custom designed vacation rental home features two zone central air conditioning/heat (both the main & lower level have their own thermostat to control AC/Heat); Heated floors in the lower level bathrooms; ceiling fans; Free WIFI; HD TVs in all Bedrooms & Great Room with HULU with LIVE TV; HD TV in Game Room with HULU and a Blu-ray DVD player; the Great Room also has a Blu-ray DVD player; USB outlets conveniently located in Kitchen and Bedrooms, one car garage, ceiling fans, gas fireplace, well appointed kitchen, a fully equipped laundry room on the main level including washer & dryer, iron, ironing board, covered decks and more. Dining & Entertainment is only a short walk to the historic Mary’s Lake Lodge. You can see the Lodge and walkway to the Lodge from your front door. (Note: Mary’s Lake Lodge experienced a fire in June 2018 that damaged it and it is uncertain at this time when it will be operational again). This mountain rental property is a perfect location for those attending a wedding at the lodge or those who want to enjoy a night out without having to drive.
The Aspen Home is centrally located within 4 miles of the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) Moraine Park entrance and 4 miles to downtown Estes Park. It is located far enough away from the traffic and congestion of downtown Estes Park that occurs during peak season to be very peaceful but close enough to be able to get to both the town and park quickly. In addition to its close proximity to RMNP and downtown Estes Park, it is only a short 3 mile ride from the rental property along the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway (aka Colorado Highway 7) to explore the nature and beauty of Lily Lake. A local favorite, Lilly Lake is an ideal location for a picnic or a walk around the lake on the loop trail that is a great hike for the entire family.

On the main level is the following: a large Master Bedroom featuring a King sized bed with mountain views, a beautiful custom alligator juniper wood headboard, ponderosa wood night stands and shelves, ceiling fan, a closet stocked with a pack-n-play, high chair and child booster seats, 32” HD TV, master bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower with bench seat and grab bars; a Powder room featuring a custom rustic sink and toilet; a large open Great Room with a kitchen fully stocked with the gourmet cook in mind and many kitchen extras for wedding or special occasion entertainment needs; a custom rustic large quartz dining table that seats eight comfortably; there is also an information board in the kitchen with USB plugs to hold and charge your cellphones/tablets, hang your keys/important papers and a white board to write notes and messages; the Great Room has a gas fireplace accented by a custom mantle, a large ceiling fan flanked by rustic wood ceiling beams, 50” HD TV, custom rustic wood corner table lamp ad coffee table, comfortable sofa and love seat, two rocking chairs to provide ample seating to relax and unwind. The Great Room features a large picture window to take in the panoramic views and access to a large covered deck that boasts a large propane grill and comfortable seating to take in the mountain views and the majestic aspen trees that flank the deck, wildlife in the meadow, bird watching or stargazing at night. A laundry room with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, folding table and clothes hanging rack. There is also an attached heated one car garage on the main level. Automobiles that will fit in the garage are less than 17 1/2 feet (210 inches) Long, 8 feet (96 inches) Wide and 6’8” (80 inches) High.
On the lower level is the following: a large Master Bedroom featuring a King sized bed, custom ponderosa wood headboard, night stands and shelves, 32” HD TV, ceiling fan, master bathroom with double vanity, heated floors and a walk-in shower with bench seat and grab bars; a bedroom with a King sized bed, custom beetle kill lodgepole pine wood headboard, night stand and shelves, 32” HD TV, ceiling fan, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated floors; a bedroom that has 2 Twin XL Beds that can be moved together to form a King Bed, custom barnwood accent wall, wood slab night stands and shelves, 32” HD TV, ceiling fan, a bathroom with a large vanity, heated floors and a shower/tub combination with grab bars. A game room with an oak table with four benches, bean bag chairs, a media cabinet with 32” HD TV with Blu-Ray DVD player, chess/checkers and many other board games, books and DVDs for the kids and adults. A common area with a desk, torch lamp and full length mirror with plenty of room to shake out formal attire and dress the wedding party; and access to a covered patio with a seating area is an ideal place to retreat to take in the aspen trees, mountain views, wildlife in the meadow and bird watching.
