Summary: This property is beautiful and was incredibly well organized. The owners clearly put a tremendous amount of thought into every detail to ensure guests are comfortable. We really enjoyed the place enormously with our entire immediate family. The dock worked extremely well with our 21 f. wakeboard/wakesurf boat. We have rented summer properties over the years on many different lakes in Michigan and this one is in our top 3. The nearby towns are quaint & peaceful. We had two completely non-windy days and used our boat to access Lake Michigan, which was smooth like glass and spectacularly blue with stunning beach access. Our only concern in advance was the road between the property and the lake, but this turned out to be no problem at all. There is a stop sign nearby that is effective in slowing the traffic and the speed limit is 25 mph. It is also policed frequently, so everyone seems to observe the speed limit. We almost exclusively ate breakfast, lunch & dinner at the property, to make the most of our vacation together, and prepared gourmet dinners in the awesome kitchen but we also enjoyed the local Hanson Hill Waterfront Grill restaurant that overlooks the nearby marina and the fun ice-cream places. The birdlife was spectacular as well. All in all a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views and access to multiple lakes.
