***The space***
The open concept cottage is fully furnished (incl linens and kitchen),clean and uncluttered, and pet and kid-friendly.Sleeps up to 6 with a variety of sleeping accommodations-incl a King in the master, a Queen in the sleeping alcove, and 2 Twins in the sleeping loft which opens to the great room below and a pullout Q sofa bed.

Your private patio is the ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises or a happy hour cocktail at sunset. Enjoy watching the honeybees across the corral as they leave in the morning and return in the evening from foraging. As weather permits, rabbits are put out to graze. You have a fire circle for s'mores and hootenannies, a lake deck with grill for entertaining, and a large pond for your pleasure.

We are 10 minutes from the quaint town of Chagrin Falls which has great shops, restaurants and community theater. We are about 20 minutes from the eclectic town of Cleveland Heights, and 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Amish Country, and Lake Erie Beaches. We are around the corner from Cleveland Metroparks, Geauga Park System, Punderson State Park, and Alpine Valley Skiing. We live in the main house on the property.

We do not use chemicals or pesticides on our lawn or perrenials. To control algae in our pond, we TRY to prevent geese (and the extra nutrients they deposit) from accessing the water by surrounding the pond with string 6” from the ground. Also, we use the products “Cutrine Plus” (a chelated copper product), “Aquashade” (a blue green dye to shade the bottom and reduce and prevent excess plant growth), and beneficial bacteria (which break down excess nutrients), all of which have all been deemed safe for a swimming and fishing hole!
Important Re Campfires and Cookouts: Barbeques, campfires and cookouts are permitted if they consist ONLY of a wood stack no larger than 2 ft. high x 3 ft.
