The lifts and slopes of Brighton Resort are less than half a mile down the road from this four-story home, beautifully situated with a view of the surrounding mountains and treetops. Silver Lake is stocked with rainbow trout three out of four seasons, and you'll be walking distance from Brighton Resort and one block from a small general store with an on-site restaurant. This home is particularly suited to families who love the great outdoors, with Brighton Resort and Silver Lake within walking distance and Solitude Mountain Resort a mile beyond.
After a fun day on the slopes, return to your vacation cabin and make use of a ski rack in the entry to hang up to eight sets of skis or snowboards. Be sure to utilize the six boot heaters in the garage as well to get your footwear nice and dry in no time. You'll also find such family-friendly features as a Pack 'n Play, a high chair, a baby gate, a washer/dryer, and an entryway with benches, hooks, and racks to corral everyone's gear.
The house spans 3,000 square feet across four floors, with the main living space on the second level. There's a well-equipped kitchen with a farm sink, a prep island, and all the essential appliances (including double ovens), and a gorgeous setting for family meals in the glassed-in sunroom overlooking the alpine landscape. In the evening hours, stream movies in the warmth of the gas fireplace in the living room or pile on the sectional sofa in the den downstairs.
When it's time to turn in, you'll find three bedrooms on the third floor and the primary bedroom alone on the top floor, offering its own bathroom and smart TV.
THINGS TO KNOW
There is no cable service, but all of the TVs have streaming capability with guests' own account credentials.
The private sauna and the balcony off the sunroom are not available to guests.
The wood-burning fireplace on the bottom floor is not available to guests, but the gas fireplace on the main floor is.
There is no AC.
