Conveniently located in northwest Holmes County and 10 minutes from Shreve and only 20 from Wooster, Millersburg or Loudonville. Enjoy a relaxing day in the country or local attractions - Sunny Slope Winery, Harveys Market (April through October), MawMaw's Diner, Brown's Lake Bog, and Holmes Pottery. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay at an old farmhouse on a real working farm, this is for you. If you're looking for one of those "brand-new perfect everything white fake farmhouses", you will be disappointed and whine because real farms are a little gritty and far from perfect! The grass isn't manicured, there might be some weeds, my chickens are old, and cats semi feral, the buildings need TLC, but it has character, history, and authenticity.
