Spend some time relaxing in the country this spring! This spacious four bedroom home sits on a piece of our 25 acre small family farm in Amish Country. Experience the slower pace and the beautiful scenery with us. This home is wonderul as a base camp for the very best in Amish Country shopping or host that couples weekend you're always dreaming about! We are minutes away from wineries, Ohio Star Theater, Dutch Valley Restaurant and shopping!
The space
Our spacious house will sleep 8 guest comfortably. An extended family, girls weekend trips (did we mention wineries and shopping galore) or even a couples vacation would feel right at home here. Our kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, bake-wear, basic spices, oils, flour, sugar, etc. We love to throw a lovely dinner party, and our oversized dining room provides the perfect backdrop for you. Extra dinnerware, glassware, linens are all on location to make that special meal possible.
The master suite includes a large master bedroom with a medium/firm memory foam king size bed, en suite bathroom and a sitting area where there is dedicated workspace available. Our WI-fi internet is solid and fast for those that need connectivity.
The second king size bedroom includes a soft/medium memory foam mattress on a lower platform type bed. The third bathroom is right outside the door to this bedroom.
The queen bedroom includes a medium/firm memory foam mattress and shares access to an en suite bathroom with the full bedroom next door.
The full bedroom has the only traditional innerspring mattress and would be best suited to smaller adults or children due to the size of the bed. This bedroom also shares the en suite bathroom with the queen bedroom.
Entrance to the house is through the laundry room which has an on-site washer and dryer that is available for guest use at any time. An iron and ironing board is also provided.
Our home is equipped with an on-demand whole house generator that automatically starts upon any interruption to the electrical supply. Although powers outages occur infrequently in the area, we are equipped to deal with them when they come. This means an uninterrupted vacation for you!
My favorite area of the house is the large deck with the BBQ grill. There is usually a wonderful breeze coming across the hill and it's lovely to relax out there with a glass of wine in the evening from one of the many local wineries.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire main level floor of the home. The basement area is locked off. In addition, outdoor decks, patio, yard and fire pit areas are all available.
