Set on the shoreline of Meeks Bay, McCown Lakefront delivers an exclusive, tucked-away setting with panoramic Lake Tahoe views from nearly every room—plus a private shared pier and your own personal buoy for effortless lake days.
Inside, this sprawling ranch-style home blends classic Tahoe charm with thoughtful updates throughout the kitchen, living spaces, and bedrooms. Enter through a striking stone entry with built-in bench seating and a coat closet, then step into the expansive great room where cathedral-style ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a large audio/visual center create the perfect gathering space. Walls of glass frame the water, and multiple sliding doors open to wraparound decks and a stone patio—ideal for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or simply watching the light move across the bay.
The updated kitchen is designed for groups, featuring generous counter space, four island stools, and a convenient indoor grill. A back laundry room adds extra practicality for longer stays.
Sleeping arrangements are flexible and family-friendly:
The primary suite sits just off the living room with a King bed, an unobstructed picture-window view across Meeks Bay toward Nevada and South Lake Tahoe, and a private full bathroom.
Two additional bedrooms each offer a Queen bed and sliding glass doors to the deck, with two fully renovated hall bathrooms (mirror-image layout) featuring jetted tubs.
The kids will love the dedicated two-level loft/den bedroom, complete with TVs on both levels, four built-in bunks, and a card/game table for cozy evenings in.
A fifth bedroom with two Twin beds sits below the main living area and can be accessed via the outside lake-view deck, the stairs from the upper deck to the lower, or through the stairwell in the loft/den.
