Come and enjoy a country getaway in a peaceful, quiet, and serene location without sacrificing convenience! We are located three miles from the town of Oxford, OH, home of Miami University. Also a short 20 minute drive to Hamilton, OH (Spooky Nook). Our cozy farmhouse allows for the opportunity to rest and relax on our 15 acre property. Enjoy the sunrises/sunsets that can't be beat! Accommodations include King size bed for 2 guests, bunk bed (twin on top and full size on bottom), fiber high-speed internet, fully equipped kitchen and tv with apps.
The space:
The gravel driveway leads you off a country road and onto fifteen acres of woodland and meadow property where the farmhouse is situated. Pass by our main home and see our friendly hens while driving to your private entrance to the farmhouse. Inside, you'll find a spacious home with industrial yet cozy decor.
Our location provides a convenient, back-roads access close to the town of Oxford, OH. Oxford provides many scenic trails and parks to occupy your time during your stay. Also, the nearby city of Hamilton, OH offers up and coming local breweries that often provide live music and fun for your enjoyment.
Currently accommodates two guests in our main bedroom. A full size under a twin size bunk bed in the second bedroom; allowing for four to five guests total. We have an outdoor propane firepit with four large comfortable chairs for your enjoyment.
Guest access:
There is plenty of parking access along the gravel drive and grassy areas leading to the farmhouse. You will have full access to the inside living space, which includes a spacious living room, dining room area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, main bedroom with large walk-in closet (where washer/dryer are located) as well as a small extra bedroom.
Our connected garage is used for personal storage space and is monitored.
Other things to note:
Our main home has an above ground pool with partial fencing with a removable gate at the entrance. Care would need to be taken if small children are included in booking.
