Our home is the perfect blend of modern and historical in the heart of the city! With charming quirks and historical features, such as large pocket doors, bay windows with window seating, exposed brick, original wood beams. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans, spices, salt and pepper, olive oil, and fresh coffee.
The bathrooms are each equipped with blow dryer and lotion and the full bath has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. An anti-fatigue mat is provided for your comfort.
Besides all the amenities, with all the houseplants and view of the spacious community garden in the front, and a downtown view in your backyard you will feel like you are in the perfect urban retreat.
We are located in the east downtown neighbord "Olde Towne East". We border the Franklin Park neighborhood where the spectacular Franklin Park and Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
You are a five minute drive from downtown, and a ten minute drive to the OSU campus. The home is located near the following destinations:

You are near to many restaurants and event centers. You will still feel surrounded by nature, while still being so close to everything. Ubers to and from this location are plentiful and affordable.
If you prefer to stay in there is plenty of entertainment, board games, books and a lovely fire pit to sit next to! Wood is provided for the firepit. The backyard is fully fenced and private.
Directly across the street is a community garden with flower and vegetable plots. It is such a lovely view to look out the window to the community garden. Have a seat in the gazebo as you admire all the plants.
At the end of the block you will find "Kwaanza park", equipped with a small playground and some benches and tables.
You will have access to the basement (for laundry), first, second and third floors. Additionally you have access to the private, fenced, backyard. You will be able to enter the home using an electronic keypad at both the front and back doors.
You will be able to let yourself into the property and will have everything you need to be fully sufficient. We are less than ten minutes away in case of emergency or if a need arrives. Feel free to call or text anytime if you need assistance with anything inside the home.
There will be a 25 dollar cleaning fee per stay added if you use the lounge room as a guest bedroom. We will add this flat cleaning fee for the set up & cleaning of the room, in lieu of charging for additional guests per night.
The house is in an active area. There are tons of activities in the neighborhood and nearby. We lived in this house for nearly 15 years. Sometimes there is a lot of activity and other times it is surprisingly quiet for its proximity to so many things!
You will sleep very soundly as each room is equipped with a white noise machine, and you are protected by a SimpliSafe alarm system.
