A-Frame modern home located on hundreds of acres of protected wetlands privately accessed via the 250’ boardwalk from the house. Private dock on the Withlacoochee River backwaters access Rainbow River and Lake Rousseau from house by boat. Community boat ramp 3 doors down. 2 bedrooms 1.5 baths each has it’s own walk out deck. Hot tub on lower deck. No pets. 2 kayaks and a canoe. Leave no trace!
It’s 14 minutes to Rainbow Springs State Park, 23 minutes to Yankee town, and 45 minutes to Fort Island Gulf Beach.
Keep hot tub covered when not in use or subject to $50 fine per day.

Summary: We were looking for a place to unplug AND THIS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE!! Our kids cried when it was time to go! They loved the morning and evening trips out to the dock. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! It was a great place and the kitchen had everything we needed! The hot tub was a nice added touch too. We relaxed, played board games, and really unplugged. We fished off the dock and our daughter caught a bass! (We put him back) We saw so much wildlife!! It was exactly what we needed! Thank you so much! Also, we were a close drive to the river and all the popular things to see! Would love to come back! Communication with Matt was superb! He answered every question very quickly! Thank you Matt for a great 3 days stay!!!
