The cabin is located in the beautiful Eastatoee valley in the upstate of South Carolina. The valley was home to the Green Bird tribe of the Cherokee Indians for thousands of years. The Eastatoee valley is privately held land surrounded by the public state owned 50,000 + acre Jocassee Gorges. There are many activities to enjoy just minutes from the cabin. Such as hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, golfing, horse back riding , boating and many more within a 10 mile radius of the cabin. There are 4 state parks, several county parks and two lakes just minutes away as well. Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee are two of the most pristine lakes in the country and only 15 minutes away. The town of Pickens is a 20 minute drive. The city of Greenville SC is less than a hour away and Atlanta Ga and Charlotte NC are about a two hour drive. Wi-Fi service is now available.

Summary: The house was clean enough for me to let my infant crawl around without worry which was a relief! The roads near the property are a ton of fun. I was surprised that the river was across the street from the cabin rather than in the yard but we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
