Country Cottage Retreat in beautiful Woodstock, NY. Nestled in the mountains, near waterfalls and streams. A few minutes from Woodstock Village Green, KTD Monastery, OPUS 40, HITS, Bard, Woodstock Jewish Congregation, Levon Helm’s Rambles, Maverick Concerts, Woodstock Playhouse. All the comforts of home including AC, heat, cable, TV, DVD & private patio with charcoal grill. Tastefully decorated. Small equipped galley kitchen. Sleeping loft with Queen size bed, new futon in the main area. In-ground saline pool on site, shared with owner, seasonal. Skiing and hiking close by.

Summary: A very nice place and a pleasant stay. We didn't understand from the listing that the loft is accessed by a ladder, and as seniors we felt that ruled the loft out as a place to sleep. The double futon on the ground floor was comfortable. Loved the book collection. Host was accessible and helpful.
