Rising high above Miller Mountain in Saluda, stands a View for Skye! A Secluded Log Cabin on 9 acres with beautiful year-round mountain views. Located just minutes from the town of Saluda and nearby attractions with easy access - 1.5 miles up a well-maintained gravel road to the property (4 wheel drive not required)
Unfortunately, due to increased fire risk, the N.C. Forest Service has issued a ban on all open burning and has canceled the burning permits for this county until further notice
The cabin features 2 sitting areas, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a pull-out sofa-bed and a kitchen stocked with essential dishes for cooking, baking and entertaining. Outdoors, guests can roast marshmallows at the fire pit or watch the beautiful mountain sunsets from the expansive, covered deck. Dogs can explore a large, fenced-in area adjoining the house. And, everyone can enjoy a brisk 1.2 mile walk up the road to the top of the mountain for more views at any time of the day.
The location is perfect for a relaxing retreat as well as an easy driving distance to a number of local attractions. Visitors are drawn to Saluda for its quaint shops and restaurants, cycling routes along the Greenville Watershed, plentiful hiking trails, zip-lining, and kayak/tubing adventures along the Green River. The town is just a 20-30 min drive from shops, galleries, restaurants, wineries and breweries in Tryon and Hendersonville - including the incredible TIEC (Tryon International Equestrian Center). Saluda is also a reasonable commute (45-50 mins) to the attractions in Asheville and Chimney Rock/Lake Lake Lure.
The garage has been converted into a game room area and is now setup and available for your family to enjoy. There is a loft / play area with some toys upstairs and a foosball table, darts, ring toss and connect 4 games downstairs as well as well as some casino games.
