Experience the mountains of North Georgia at this full-time homestead! One of four historic cabins on our property, located just 10 minutes from Fort Mountain State Park, Carter's Lake, and the town of Chatsworth, 25 minutes from Ellijay, and 45 minutes from Blue Ridge. Come enjoy hiking, mountain biking, local history, or simply relax by the creek that borders the property. The hosts and their dogs are happy to let you enjoy your stay in peace, or to visit and tell you more about the area!
The cabin is set on an 8 acre property along with 3 other rental cabins all originally built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The hosts live on the property along with their friendly dogs. You'll likely see them working outside, whether it be in the garden or with the chickens.
On the first floor you'll find a kitchen stocked with some essentials for cooking meals and a living room furnished for relaxation.
There is a big screen Smart TV on which you can stream your favorite movies and shows, and even an DVD player/DVD collection if you prefer to kick it old school.
The downstairs bedroom is furnished with two full size beds and you'll quickly notice that the bathroom is only accessible by walking through this bedroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with one queen bed.
The fort porch looks out on the chicken coop and garden. While the three other cabins are all visible from the porch, there is a unique sense of privacy.
This cabin is family friendly, and includes a pack and play, baby gate, and a high chair!
