The Lighthouse' is a laid back and classic quintessential 1920s Maine cottage located on 13 acres with heated pool and fireplace. It has been refaced with all new painting, heating and cooling upgrades, new flat screen, all new kitchen tools, bedding, and bathroom too. Step into this cottage and experience Maine! The location is convenient to Ogunquit village which is only .05 miles away and 3/4 mile to Sandy Gorgeous Ogunquit Beach. It is also in the perfect location for the neighboring Beach towns of York and Wells.

A great place to settle in for the week for all outdoor activities! Hikers and walkers will enjoy nearby Marginal Way and other local trails. The cottage is perfectly set up for your family with 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds. *There is a futon in the living area that may sleep a child or smaller adult. The Lighthouse also offers you a common area heated outdoor pool, shared laundry facility, fire pit, and playground for the kids! Window A/C units in both bedrooms too.

Summary: Pros - it had hot running water - the property was nice with quiet guests and residents -pool was surprisingly nice for the kids - safe - sort of close to Ogunquit though not close enough to walk and we had to pay $25 to park at town center/ beach and Perkins Cove every time we went. Cons - the bed linen situation was horrible- there was some sort of lace tablecloth thing as a bedspread. Terrible polyester crispy sheets. I asked management for more blankets and they just ignored my request. Pillow shams were dirty. -Kitchen was cluttered with useless stuff but nothing you really needed - there was one bowl - the couch was an atrocity. - management didn't provide a house number (13 by the way) so we were unsure what cottage it was Overall this was a very typical "management company who doesn't really care" rental. It was ok for our family vacation but the sleeping, kitchen and couch situation were really uncomfortable. Would not stay again.
