Our cabin sits on 223' of prime fishing riverfront, offering easy access to salmon, steelhead, and trout fishing right from the backyard (ALL fishing closed Jan 1-Mar 31). Enjoy riverside campfires, bird watching, and yard games on our secluded acre of land. Relax on the back deck or covered porch with beautiful river views. The picnic area includes a propane Blackstone grill—perfect for cooking up your catch or grilling some local bratwurst from the famous Dublin Store.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy, updated space with knotty pine, an open floor plan, and a fully stocked kitchen. The propane stove mimics the charm of a wood-burning fireplace, and the walkout deck is ideal for relaxing with treehouse-like views. Our bathroom includes a washer/dryer for your convenience, on demand hot water, and new and improved water pressure. The cabin has two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a full. The pullout couch offers additional sleeping space if needed. Past guests will be pleased to know that the well was replaced in 2024, offering improved water pressure, we have added a window A/C unit for the summer, and wi-fi is arriving December '25.
With easy access to the river for kayaking, fishing, or swimming, plus nearby canoe liveries for rentals, you can make the most of your time outdoors. For non-motorized adventure, you’re minutes from the Big M Trailhead-perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. For motorized activities, we're less than 10 miles from ORV trailheads like Big O, Little O, Tin Cup, and Lincoln Hills.
Located close to Ludington, Manistee, Cadillac, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City, our cabin is the perfect base for your Northern Michigan adventures. Plus, there’s plenty of space for vehicles, boats, or ORV trailers in our pull through drive.
