Why have your vacation marginalized by never ending stairs/hills? When looking at properties look at how steep of an incline/how many stairs and then look at CottageCove. Intimidated by scary driveways that a mountain goat wouldn't be wiling to try? You will find that a lot on Norris lake. We have very easy access so flat-landers such as myself can get there without drama. With the positioning it provides seclusion, but still close to the main channel on Big Creek.
The dock is a covered double slip. However there will be only one available with a lift with the rental. You could spend a week on the dock swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, and laying out. With gas prices being what they are, it is our opinion the more fun you can have at the house, firepit, and dock areas are key to being on Norris lake. We have upgraded the dock and put 16x28 concrete that is half covered on one side and 4x28 concrete add on the cove side. This house has it all covered.
We want you to not only enjoy the outside activities, but at the end of the day you want to have room to relax and have the evenings as enjoyable as the day was. The house sleeps two couples comfortably, and there is a trundle day bed in a small bedroom separated only by pocket doors to the King bedroom on the main level. This would be good for two smaller kids that you are fine being in close quarters with the parents. The lofted suite has a very comfortable King bed.
Ideally it is perfectly suited for 2 couples that want something nice with great amenities.
The kitchen is fully stocked with matching dishes, silverware, and all the utensils you have at home. We have stayed for a month and eat in all the time with no issues.
We are in a small cove which means a stress free dock swimming and floating uninterrupted. 4 kayaks, paddleboards, and inflatable floats for your use.
When you arrive you will know that we have an emphasis on cleanliness and a commitment to having the house look as good or better than the pictures you used to make your decision on where you wanted to stay. In my opinion vacation renting is stressful, and the best thing we can do is have the place look just like the pictures or better. You can then exhale and start enjoying one of the best vacations ever.
We rent the house to make it something we can afford to have, but we are always looking for ways to make it a comfortable place to spend special times together. Having this home as a part of your best memories is very important to us.
I am pretty serious about keeping it nice and being awesome for not only you but others we share the house with in the future. If you are looking for a place to just house 6 people as overflow, party house, or 6 adults, this is not the place for you. I have good neighbors and would like to keep it that way.
