Nestled in the woods of Missaukee County, The Cardinal Nest is a small, two-story guest house designed to look like a Norwegian Stabbur. It is fully furnished in traditional Norwegian decor and is completely ready for your stay – all you need are your personal items and food. The Cardinal Nest is located behind the Owner's Residence and next door to Cardinal Creations Quilt Shop and Gifts.
A Stabbur is a traditional Norwegian outbuilding used for a pantry and sometimes as overflow guest quarters. Usually clothing and valuables were kept on the second level, while food and commodities were stored on the main floor.
All beds are built in:

1 Full
All linens will be included.
Full Kitchen - stove, refrigerator, microwave. Included dishes, pots, and pans.
The Nest can accommodate a maximum of 7 guests, and a minimum of 2.
The Cardinal Nest is a smoke free and pet free environment. We ask that smokers use the back porch where we have provided a bucket for ashes and butts.
**The Cardinal Nest does have stairs** All beds are on the upper level.
There is a craft/sewing area set up in the basement. This will include a cutting table, iron & ironing board with sewing area for 7 people.
