Welcome to Chipmunk Ridge a cozy cabin nestled on the edge of 10 acres of woodlands with a killer meadow for star gazing!!
Inside the cabin you will find everything you need for a fantastic getaway from a fully stocked kitchen to a quiet reading chair in the game room. We have books and games available to occupy your time when you're not exploring the marked trails on the property. Chairs are available on the trail for you to rest on your way up to the meadow to possibly get a glimpse of the many deer, turkeys and other wildlife that frequent our property.
At night sit by the fire outside and listen for the owls they're a "hoot"!
During the day April -October spend a couple of hours at the Wilds the Columbus Zoos safari park (reservations required). We are also close to Blue Rock State Park with more trails and a camp store with the best hand scooped ice cream (summer only). Big Muskie once the world's largest bucket loader is nearby as is Jesse Owen State Park which is also a short drive.
It's equipped with a woodstove for the winter months and wood is always free with your reservation.
Linens, soaps, and coffees are all included.
We have WiFi but no TV
We have a rain water collection system in place that is permitted by the health department so the water is drinkable and it's also great for your hair and skin!!
We have a deck with a bistro set in the summer months it's a great place to watch the hummingbirds.
We do encourage our guests to feed not only the hummingbirds but the other birds and chipmunks with the food provided. While we discourage the feeding of the raccoons (even though they are cute) you may see them at the feeder from time to time.
Chipmunk Ridge is an amazing place and we can't wait to share it with you!
