Summary: This is a great place for staying near Sandusky, if you want to be near the Shores and Islands. There are plenty of places for eating and drinking in downtown Sandusky, but the Sandusky Bay Pancake House on US-250 is the BEST for breakfast or brunch. If you want to get a Jet Express to Kelley's Island, better purchase on-line ahead of time. We were disappointed to find out the Jet Express was SOLD OUT on Saturday morning. The house was a great place for our stay, and the owner is very friendly and responsive.
